Amna Cehaja

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Amna Cehaja is an Associate Attorney at Health Law Consultancy, where she supports the Firm’s Founding Attorneys by conducting research on emerging legal and regulatory issues affecting the health care industry. Her research and analyses have focused on data privacy, artificial intelligence, health care legislation and regulation, and other evolving areas of health law.

Cehaja earned her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, with a minor in Spanish, from DePaul University. She earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, along with a Certificate in Health Law. While attending the College of Law, Cehaja served as the Managing and Business Editor of the Journal of Health Care Law, where she published an article analyzing opt-in and opt-out organ donation systems. She was also selected as the 2024-2025 Board Fellow for the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys.

Prior to joining Health Law Consultancy as an Associate Attorney, Cehaja gained experience with the Firm through the Jaharis Health Law Institute Summer Scholars Program at DePaul University College of Law, where she researched and analyzed a variety of legal issues, including those involving health care legislation, regulatory compliance, and emerging issues in health law. Cehaja is a member of the Illinois State Bar and the Chicago Bar Association.
